Speaking of ads

Posted By on Mon, May 3, 2010 at 12:01 PM

Here's one from Judge John Fogleman, running for state Supreme Court. He's effectively used one of the best tools available to judicial candidates -- experience.

And, opponent Courtney Henry's campaign notes that she's talking about experience, too. Kind of crafty, given the gap in actual years of experience. "Uniquely?"

Also on the ad beat: lots of noise today about the racist ads being run by the stealth business lobby against Bill Halter, the one with Bollywood characters thanking him for shipping jobs to India. It's racist, it's dishonest and it will run until election day in a huge buy, the group, the laughingly named Americans for Job Security, says. The AFL-CIO calls it "filth."
