Golf club loses court appeal

Posted By on Wed, May 5, 2010 at 2:07 PM

The state Court of Appeals today affirmed a lower court ruling that holes of the Walnut Ridge Golf Club had improperly encroached on safety zones of the Walnut Ridge Airport and had to be removed, without compensation to the club.

The case had earlier prompted quite a bit of local controversy.
