Can Mike Huckabee talk his way to White House?

The buzz about Mike Huckabee's potential presidential candidacy continues, today with a lengthy analysis from The Fix, the Washington Post politics blog. Can he do it on personality alone and less than conventional attention to mechanics and process? The insiders seem to sneer at that idea, but I'm not so sure they're infallible. Free media and positive exposure, which Huckabee is enjoying (and getting paid for a lot of it), can in time create a powerful narrative.
