Paul Ryan's 'Roadmap'

Posted By on Tue, Aug 3, 2010 at 7:14 AM

Yes, I think it would be a fine idea for candidates for Congress this year — and current members, such as Rep. John Boozman, the wannabe Senator — to declare where they stand on the budget "Roadmap for America's Future" prepared by Rep. Paul Ryan, the ranking Republican on the House budget committee.

Privatize Medicare and Social Security for starters?

Yes, let's talk.

Mr. Boozman? Mr. Griffin? Mr. Crawford? Ms. Rankin? Mr. Womack?

  • Another Republican miracle-working governor

Great piece in Washington Post on the budget crisis in Louisiana. Big tax cuts and corporate welfare will do that to a state, particularly to a state whose previous governor, Republican Bobby Jindal, refused to join the Obamacare-funded Medicaid expansion. There's a lesson there for Arkansas.
