The line is open

Anything good to report?

Political campaign reports are coming in: Gov. Mike Beebe has $2.5 million cash on hand. Jim Keet, who's taken out $114,000 in loans, has about $9,000. Shane Broadway, the Democratic candidate for lt. gov., has $299,000 on hand; Republican Mark Darr has $56,000.

NEWS NOTE: For you regulated utility junkies, here's a motion filed today by industrial gas and electricity users who want PSC Chairman Paul Suskie and PSC staff member Wally Nixon off a pending case because the industrial users think Suskie and Nixon been too chummy with a group that works for energy efficiency. The central issue seems to be mandated efficiency programs for big utility customers.
