Party loyalty in Arkansas

Posted By on Fri, Sep 17, 2010 at 6:48 AM

New poll shows Arkansans feel closer to Republicans than Democrats in national elections, but still slightly lean Democratic in state and local elections.

So let's apply the finding to some actual races
.

* Governor: Democrat Mike Beebe up 21 over Republican Jim Keet, 54-33.

* Lt. Gov.: Democrat Shane Broadway 36, Republican Mark Darr 34, undecided 30.

and, sorry, I overlooked this one initially:

* Secretary of state: Extremist Republican Mark Martin 45, Democrat Pat O'Brien 34, undecided 21.
