Wanted in Kavanaugh robbery

Know him?

Police are circulating this photo of Branten Lavell Smith, 23, of Conway, a suspect in a Sept. 13 strong-armed robbery in the 2700 block of Kavanaugh. Police say the suspect grabbed a purse from one of two women, struggled, then finally broke the purse strap and fled. This photo is two years old. Police say the robber was clean-shaven.

I'm presuming this relates to recent surveillance camera photographs that have been circulating in the neighborhood of men pulling up in an alley near the corner of Beechwood and Kavanaugh in the early evening, then fleeing after one of the men in the car got out to rob a pedestrian.

UPDATE: He was arrested this morning in Mayflower.
