The lying liars at work

Posted By on Wed, Nov 17, 2010 at 6:32 AM

Thomas Friedman is the latest to debunk the wingnut myth that President Obama's trip to India cost $200 million a day, more than the war in the Middle East. Mike Huckabee, supposedly the "reasonable" Republican, was among those who pompously smirked out this lie incessantly in the rightwing echo chambers.

IT DOES NOT MATTER. All the Thomas Friedmans and Anderson Coopers in the world can't kill lies such as these. You may be sure that a letter is winging its way to the Democrat-Gazette today with a repetition of the fairy tale. That's the "beauty" of the echo chamber. You can say anything. It will be repeated, believed and voted on. Cry the beloved country.
