Murphy's Law: No austerity for highway czars

Add columnist John Brummett to those skeptical of Highway Commission Chairman Madison Murphy's assertion that every single one of the Highway Department's state car fleet for administrators is a necessity. Add him also to those who've observed the staggering hypocrisy in Murphy's defense of featherbedding for the agency he oversees despite a long history of decrying government waste.
