* Oh, maybe wackjobbery.

* Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik's press conference statement about the poisonous political rhetoric of our times was heartfelt, eloquent and worth remembering.

* We do not need a society in which anyone can walk the streets openly carrying a semi-automatic weapon capable of killing six and wounding 13 more in a split-second burst of fire.

* The big news is that authorities are seeking another person who might have been working with the shooting suspect in custody. The man in custody was flunked by the Army when he tried to enlist..
