OSHA cites Welspun plant

Posted By on Tue, Feb 1, 2011 at 11:46 AM

A federal agency has cited the Welspun pipe plant in Little Rock for two dozen health and safety violations following an August inspection, Arkansas Business reports.

This is not a first-time citation for the plant. This latest finding, note, was based on an inspection months before the December plant accident in which one worker was killed and another seriously injured when trapped by massive lengths of pipe. That accident is under review by OSHA.
