NEWS UPDATE: P.K. Holmes of Fort Smith was confirmed today by the U.S. Senate, 95-0, as a federal judge. The Obama administration also snuck through its first fededral judicial appointee in Texas. Bush campaign contributor and wife of former Mark Pryor chief of stuff Bob Russell, which indicates she's survived questions about experience and political inclination to be the pick for an opening in Little Rock. Previously, a pick of Blanche Lincoln was front-runner for the seat. Blanche Who?
