So many hypocrites, so little space

Posted By on Tue, Feb 8, 2011 at 4:14 PM

It's easy to pick off these sorts of things in the Arkansas legislature, nonethless it's worth a reminder sometimes to see how loudly held "principles" so often differ from voting records.

Here, Blue Arkansas spotlights Rep. Justin Harris — one of the leaders of legislation punishing children brought to the U.S. as babies by depriving them, despite long years of residence in Arkansas and Arkansas high school diplomas, of the fairness of equal treatment at state colleges in tuition and scholarship help.

Of course. Justin Harris voted against a bill to get tough on businesses that hire cheap, illegal laborers. Far easier to punish innocent children than knowing violators of the law who encourage the very immigration that Harris decries. The bidnessmen are 'muricans, see?
