The Little Rock snow forecast

The Weather Service has updated its snowfall prediction map, dropping the amount expected in Little Rock to 4-6 inches from 8-plus.


Four to six inches of snow is in the forecast in much of southern and western Arkansas, with lesser amounts in the northeast. Accumulations will likely exceed six inches in parts of the Ouachita Mountains west of Little Rock (Pulaski County).

School has already been cancelled in a couple of Saline County school districts, according to various Twitter feeds, and the legislature is talking about bagging Thursday and Friday, though they're already in town and could keep meeting. Might be hard for lobbyists to get out to the steakhouses at night with their credit cards, though, so ....
