Republican supports health reform?

Posted By on Sun, Feb 13, 2011 at 3:57 PM

Blue Arkansas provides an interesting clip of Bruce Cozart, the Republican candidate for the special election for House District 24 in Hot Springs, in an appearance before a local NAACP chapter. He expresses a little reticence about charter schools, if they deprive conventional public schools of money, and, given the chance, he declined to call for repeal of health care reform, the standard Republican mantra. He said it needed to be improved, but those are liberal fighting words for the Tea Partyers running things down in Garland County nowadays, I'd think.

The election is March 8. Jerry Rephan, a lawer, is the Democratic nominee. Perhaps he'd like to see Cozart and raise.
