Steamboat Mary Woods can't be saved

The Mary Woods No. 2, a former working steamboat that was a prime attraction at Jacksonport State Park near Newport can't be saved, park officials say. KAIT in Jonesboro reports it would be too expensive.

The boat story, minus the final chapter, is here. It sank at its mooring in 2010 and efforts to raise it intact were unsuccessful.
