* I asked Arkansas’s Republican congressmen today for reactions to the GOP plan to destroy Medicare. No callbacks. I did learn, in calling U.S. Rep. Tim Griffin’s office that his press aide, K. Ryan James, had left the staff in the last 24 hours. Why? Don’t know. You? Not that James exactly burned up my line with return calls, but I’m still surprised there was no notice of the departure.
