Beebe explains UA appointment

Posted By on Thu, Apr 14, 2011 at 6:38 AM

John Brummett looks askance at Gov. Mike Beebe's appointment of John Goodson, a Texarkana lawyer and Beebe financial supporter and boyfriend of new Supreme Court Justice Courtney Henry, to the University of Arkansas Board of Trustees. Beebe explains. Of course he appoints his supporters to prestigious boards. Should he appoint his enemies?

I wish he'd asked Beebe about appointing a white male to a 10-member board that thus will still have nine males and nine white people.
