Little Rock superintendent applicants

Posted By on Thu, Apr 14, 2011 at 9:12 AM

Here's the list of applicants for superintendent of the Little Rock School District. It will be winnowed to a group of finalists, I expect.

The most interesting name to me is that of Hugh Hattabaugh, a proven administrator who's currently No. 2 in the big Charlotte, N.C., school district. He was No. 2 in the Little Rock School District during the Roy Brooks era. Hattabaugh left Little Rock when Brooks was fired. He had many admirers here, including some who were NOT admirers of Brooks. Does he retain radioactivity from that association?
