Arkansas Academic Stars: 17th edition

Posted By on Wed, Apr 27, 2011 at 1:31 PM

Good news today. If you haven't yet, I encourage you to take a look at our cover story this week, the 17th Arkansas Times Academic All-Star Team. Still the only comprehensive statewide recognition of academic excellence, it adds 20 more winners and $5,000 in prizes to the 320 honored previously. They are chosen from dozens of top senior students nominated by public and private high schools and home schools.

Special this year: Bernard Reed caught up with several of our past winners and I think you'll be interested in the lives they've built, in good works all over the world.

Soon, we hope to get a Facebook page established for Arkansas Times all-stars (and all nominees and finalists are welcome to participate, too), so we can build a data base of the state's best and brightest.
