Can anyone win Republican nomination?

Posted By on Wed, May 11, 2011 at 10:27 AM

Nate Silver has produced the be-all, end-all summary of polling and futures trading to date on the Republican presidential nominee for 2012. Nobody seems to have much of a chance to win. Mitt Romney is the leader, by a hair over Mike Huckabee, who Silver says is undervalued in the futures market based on poll numbers. But we're talking 1-in-4 odds for Romney.

I sense Silver believes Huckabee is the one who could emerge from this pack. Given the state of the Republican electorate, that could be true.
