Newt not conservative enough

Posted By on Tue, May 17, 2011 at 10:45 AM

Remember how, in a rare moment of sanity, Newt Gingrich told "Meet the Press" that Paul Ryan's plan to drastically cut Medicare might be "too big of a jump?" Well, that has Republicans riled. Faux News actually had a pretty good run down of the whole fracas, including video of a Republican voter chastising Gingrich, calling him an embarrassment to the GOP. Gingrich is trying to back track a little now, saying, naturally, that the whole thing is a misunderstanding and it's all the liberal media's fault.
