A town without a bank

Three towns in fact. Arkansas Business follows up today on a story they broke yesterday about the closing of nine Bancorp South locations throughout the state.

In six of those cities, residents have at least one other banking option. But for three — Chidester, Humphrey and Humnoke — the move will close the only bank branch in town, forcing residents to seek alternatives.
