CORRECTION: The state Board of Apportionment staff will hold a public hearing at 6 p.m. TUESDAY NIGHT (not tonight as I originally wrote) at the ASU Student Union auditorium in Jonesboro on ongoing plans to draw new legislative districts to reflect the 2010 Census. The board’s website has posted some maps suggested so far, with at least one more coming after noon today.

Both the Democratic and Republican parties are urging supporters to attend. I’m sure everyone will have Flip cams and other recording devices for the action.
