Pony Express arrives with Lincoln news

Posted By on Tue, May 24, 2011 at 6:15 AM

I was a little bemused yesterday at a flurry of Twitters about Blanche Lincoln's taking a lobbying job in Washington (noted in a front-page story this morning in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette).

I reported that news — along with former Senate staffer Robert Holifield's move to the same law firm — on the blog a week, ago, May 17. It was not my original reporting, only a link to others. Media types might be interested to know the news was reported by former Democrat-Gazette reporter Kathy Kiely, writing for National Journal.

Don't tell me the D-G doesn't read late posts on the blog. Where else did they get the story Friday night about Larry Jegley's report on the Michael Nellums-Tim Clark sting of Pulaski school board member Gwen Williams.
