I mentioned earlier today some activities that Arkansas attorney generals once pursued that don’t seem to draw the same vigor from Attorney General Dustin McDaniel as beating up on Pulaski County public school children, defending white flight charter schools and setting up sexy new “cybercrime” divisions.

In New York, the attorney general is suing over failure of gas drillers to do environmental impact studies before fracking for gas in the Delaware River basin.

In Arkansas, it will be a cold day in August when the attorney general and future gubernatorial candidate files anything that slows down gas drilling or protects people and environment over coal burners, gas drillers and the like. That’s left to environmental organizations and lawyers such as Richard Mays.
