(Some) Senators fight for Medicaid

Posted By on Thu, Jun 9, 2011 at 10:10 AM

U.S. Sen. Jay Rockefeller news release:

Senator Jay Rockefeller today announced that 41 Senate Democrats stand united against any efforts to slash Medicaid. In letters to President Obama, 41 Democratic Senators stated their opposition to block grant, cap, or otherwise eliminate or slash Medicaid coverage for our nation’s most vulnerable citizens.

I'll save you the trouble. U.S. Sen. Mark Pryor's name isn't on Rockefeller's list.
