Posted By on Tue, Jul 12, 2011 at 10:37 AM

Gov. Mike Beebe took questions on a Roby Brock webcast today. Twitter feeds say he 1) defended Shane Broadway as Higher Ed leader for his political skills; 2) said he'd stay out of Sheffield Nelson's plan to push a severance tax increase on the 2012 ballot; 3) said the budget surplus would be needed to plug holes, such as Medicaid; 4) touted his tax-cutting record 5) said legislative redistricting maps should be ready by the end of July.
