Mike Ross to refund some campaign money

Posted By on Tue, Jul 26, 2011 at 10:43 AM

U.S. Rep. Mike Ross says he'll refund individual campaign contributions to his congressional account, but keep PAC contributions given for the primary election, Roby Brock reports at Talk Business. He has $319,000 on hand and PAC money accounted for about 80 percent of his contributions in the most recent quarter. He can contribute that money, within individual contribution limits, to other political candidates, including on the state level, or give it to the Democratic Party, but can't roll over the sum into a future race for governor.
