Beebe releases House map

Posted By on Wed, Jul 27, 2011 at 3:41 PM

Gov. Mike Beebe released a new version of the House redistricting map this afternoon. You can download the PDF here for a closer look. According to spokesman Matt DeCample, there were no changes in the number of majority-minority districts. Also, no incumbents have changed districts since the last draft. Regional breakout maps should be available on the redistricting website soon, DeCample says. Attorney General Dustin McDaniel has also released a map this afternoon. I can't see any difference between his map and the governor's. Check it out for yourself.
