Sex shop arrest

Last night, Pulaski County Sheriff's deputies visited The Silo — a sex-shop apparently operating out of a trailer on Pratt Road south of Little Rock — and cited Baleka Stubbs, a clerk working there, on a misdemeanor charge of operating an adult-oriented business within 1000 feet of a residence. The police report says Stubbs was arrested on a felony charge of possession of Oxycontin after she told investigators she had a prescription bottle with two different kinds of pills inside in her purse. Here's the (nigh illegible) police report.

This isn't the first visit by deputies to The Silo at that location. They'd been ordered to close back in March, and have often been cited for failure to close since then. The business used to be on MacArthur Drive between the city limits of North Little Rock and Oak Grove, but was closed in October 2009 by the Pulaski County Sheriff's Department due to being too close to residences there.
