The 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks will be observed at the State Capitol with a program at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11. It will follow a parade of police, fire and EMT workers at 1 p.m. from Seventh and Chester to the Capitol.

Speakers include Gov. Mike Beebe, Adjutant Gen. William D. Wofford of the Arkansas National Guard, and Asa Hutchinson, former undersecretary of Homeland Security. Lt. Gov. Mark Darr will emcee, Secretary of State Mark Martin said in announcing the event.
