Flash: Republicans like a tax increase

But wouldn't you know it, the tax increase some Republicans want to pass is to reinstate the full payroll tax. This tax reducation is a big benefit to the working poor and middle class and the money goes straight into the economy.

But this is a tax increase Republicans favor. Eric Cantor, for example, says this kind of tax cut — that helps working people — is no way to help the economy. Only relief for rich people does that. This would be unbelievable if we hadn't long ago gone down the rabbit hole.

Subscribers there were told home delivery of a print paper would end in May.
