  • WANTED: Cameron Peterson
Two police officers say they were fired on, but not struck, by two men reported to be firing shots shortly after midnight at the Eastview Terrace apartments in the 1200 block of Geyer Street, on the east side of Interstate 30. One man had a rifle (described as an AK-47 that fired more than 30 rounds) and the other a handgun. A SWAT team entered an apartment in search of the men, but didn't find them.

Police later arrested one suspect, Jeremy Ford, 25, of North Little Rock, when he turned himself in. They are seeking another, Cameron Peterson, 19, of Little Rock, suspected of firing the AK-47.
