Fourth District draws more candidates

Beth Anne Rankin of Magnolia, the Republican nominee in 2010, announced today as expected that she'd try again for the 4th district congressional seat held by Rep. Mike Ross, who said he won't be seeking re-election. A couple of other Republicans have already announced and Talk Business notes a couple more could bring the GOP field to five. Also, Democratic state Sen. Gene Jeffress of Louann told AP he'll seek the seat.
