Highway spending: Detour possible?

Recent discussions about federal money for a Broadway Bridge replacement and to support Arkansas interstate highway reconstruction come to mind in this article about questions of whether Republicans in Congress will stand in the way of the highway bill. Some key Republicans are on board. Tea Party types are another matter.
