Obama not popular in Arkansas

Posted By on Tue, Sep 20, 2011 at 9:36 AM

Dog bites man.

Sun rises in east.

Death and taxes.

The Talk Business/Hendrix College poll on presidential politics, with low numbers for President Obama, isn't exactly a surprise. I take a slightly different view than pollsters. I think you can extrapolate from the numbers that Obama stands a very good chance — whether the opponent is Romney or Perry — of getting 38 percent of the vote in Arkansas again. Which might be an answer to questions Democrats have been asking ever since 2010 — can it get any worse?
