A reader expressed curiosity the other day in a comment thread about the finish of Mike and Janet Huckabee's home on Blue Mountain Beach near Destin, Fla. Another reader saw the comment, promptly obtained a photograph of the former governor and Fox talk show host's home and passed it along to me. The beachside home, which county records indicate carries a $2.8 million mortgage, is shown above.

Below is the house being completed next door for the Huckabees' old Texarkana friend, former state Rep. David Haak.
