State revenue continues positive trend

The state revenue report for October shows gross revenues for the month ahead of the same month last year and also ahead of forecast, though large income tax refunds pushed the net a bit below the forecast. Softness still reported in sales tax collection, one possible indicator of how consumers feel about things. (Also perhaps a reflection of migration of business to the Internet.)
