New Daisy Bates film to show first at UALR

UALR's new Institute on Race and Ethnicity is up and running at full speed. Mark your calendars for Nov. 30. A new documentary, "Daisy Bates: First Lady of Little Rock," will be shown for the first time that day at 7 p.m. at the Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall. Filmmaker Sharon La Cruise will be on a panel to discuss the film, which will be shown on PBS in February.
