Don't write off the Keystone pipeline just yet

The payroll tax deal inevitably means the Obama administration won't approve the Keystone pipeline in the two-month window provided.

But — before U.S. Rep. Tim Griffin begins his caterwauling about job devastation in Little Rock — here's a nuanced look at what this decision will mean. Probably not the end of this pipeline, which the backer believes can cure objections with a small route change. In the end, pipelines will be built.
