Two dead in Tuesday night shootings

Two people were killed and two wounded in three separate shooting incidents in Little Rock Tuesday night.

Summaries from the LRPD on Tuesday's gunfire:

1. HOMICIDE

SUSPECT — UNKNOWN
VICTIM — DANIEL L. HILL, B/M, 04/08/1989, 9507 JACQUES
INCIDENT DATE/TIME — 01/03/2012, 1910 HOURS
INCIDENT LOCATION — 1502 GREEN MOUNTAIN
ARREST DATE/TIME — NO ARREST AT THIS TIME
ARREST LOCATION — NO ARREST AT THIS TIME

On January 3rd, 2011, Officers responded to 1502 Green Mountain in reference to a Shooting Just Occurred call. Upon arrival, they made contact with witnesses who advised that two (2) black males had entered the apartment behind the Victim, Daniel Hill, and Edwina Martin, after which time a scuffle ensued and shots rang out. Upon notification, MEMS, the Crime Scene Unit, and Detectives responded to the scene. Ms. Martin was transported to Baptist Medical Center to be treated for gunshot wounds received during the incident, and is listed in stable condition. The Homicide victim, Daniel Hill was located inside the apartment. No arrest at this time. This investigation is ongoing.

2. HOMICIDE

SUSPECT — UNKNOWN
VICTIM — DARIUS SHERARD BEE, B/M, 05/16/1979, 6900 CANTRELL ROAD, APT. #Q308
INCIDENT DATE/TIME — 01/03/2012, 2045 HOURS
INCIDENT LOCATION — 3525 JOHN BARROW ROAD
ARREST DATE/TIME — NO ARREST AT THIS TIME
ARREST LOCATION — NO ARREST AT THIS TIME

On January 3rd, 2012, at approximately 2045 hours, Officers responded to 3525 John Barrow Road (Sunshine Food Mart) in reference to a Shooting Just Occurred call. Upon arrival, they observed a large gathering of people near a black male, later identified as the Victim, Darius Sherard Bee, who was lying in the grass near the sidewalk along John Barrow Road in front of the Sunshine Food Mart. The Victim was unresponsive and, upon notification, MEMS responded and transported him to Baptist Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Homicide Detectives and the Crime Scene Search Unit were notified and responded to interview witnesses and process the scene. No arrests at this time. This investigation is ongoing.

3. TERRORISTIC ACT

SUSPECT — UNKNOWN, B/M, APPROXIMATELY 20 YEARS OLD
VICTIM — RANDALL HAMILTON, B/M, 07/04/1990, 14 CONTINENTAL CIRCLE
INCIDENT DATE/TIME — 01/03/2012, 2205 HOURS
INCIDENT LOCATION — 5813 BASELINE ROAD
ARREST DATE/TIME — NO ARREST AT THIS TIME
ARREST LOCATION — NO ARREST AT THIS TIME

On January 3rd, 2012, at approximately 2205 hours, Officers responded to a Shots Fired call at 5813 Baseline Road, and a Shooting Victim at 8000 Baseline Road. Officers made contact with the Victim, Randall Hamilton, who was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to U.A.M.S., is being treated for life threatening injuries, and is currently in very critical condition. Officers, also, made contact with a witness, who had been in the vehicle with the Victim, who stated that the Victim had been shot at 5813 Baseline Road. Upon notification, Detectives and the Crime Scene Unit responded to the scene, which was processed and items of evidentiary value were collected. No arrest at this time. The investigation is continuing.
