The Arkansas Latino vote: No impact yet

Stephens Media notes that, despite a sharp growth in he population, Latinos haven't yet broken to the political ranks yet. A coming cohort of American-born Latinos — citizens all — may change that. The article doesn't quote a Republican Latino. There are undoubtedly some, just as there are a handful of black Republicans despite a party platform unfriendly to interests of both groups.

Mentioned: Diana Gonzales Worthen of Springdale, the granddaughter of Mexican immigrants and a Democrat seeking a state Senate seat in the Springdale area.
