Bank bomb threat suspect surrenders

KTHV reports that Daniel Wheelis, 48, turned himself in to Little Rock police Monday night. He'd been sought in robbing a U.S. Bank branch on Kavanaugh in the Heights last week and leaving a backpack that he said contained a bomb. There was no bomb, but precautions prompted an evacuation of the area and blocked traffic for several years hours.
