Pamela Smith, a mainstay at KATV, Channel 7, is leaving the station for a job with the Little Rock School District. She's been at the station since 1990 and co-host of "Good Morning Arkansas."

She'll be replacing Tiffany Hoffman as the district's director of communications. Hoffman has moved into the real estate business.

Smith is to start April 2, the district said.
