Will Mitt Romney defend Goldman Sachs?

Mitt Romney, fabulously wealthy himself because of eat-what-you-kill capitalism, can do no other but rise to Goldman Sach's defense in its moment of exposure by a blistering op-ed written by a departing executive, right? Joe Nocera explains what's wrong with the picture for those who exalt the titans of Wall Street.

Whatever else you might think, you might think the barons who laugh at the suckers while they pocket millions could afford to pay a few more pennies in taxes. And if you haven't seen the documentary "Inside Job" (trailer above), rent it.
