Today we honor our Academic All-Star team

I'll be out of pocket this afternoon to attend our ceremony at UALR for the 2012 Arkansas Times Academic All-Star Team.

It's our 18th gathering of 20 of the top high school seniors in Arkansas. This week's cover story provides small profiles on each winner. Straight As, stratospheric test scores, a variety of other talents and interests. Yes, some of them also excel at athletics, though this is one contest that doesn't honor that attribute.
