Killing in SWLR early this morning

Channel 4 reports a man was found shot to death about 2 a.m. this morning in the 5700 block of Mabelvale Pike.

UPDATE: Police say they body was found about 12:40 a.m. at 5011 Mabelvale Pike. The man had a gunshot wound in the upper left chest. Police are still seeking an ID, a motive and a suspect.

UPDATE II: The victim has been identified as Andre Thompson, 27, of Little Rock. Police said he has no criminal record and officers so far have no suspects or motive.
