Theft suspect attacks officer, police say

Lt. Terry Hastings says Patrol Officer Nathan Herpin suffered a knee injury when attacked by a man arrested for theft at the Sol Alman Co. scrap business. The suspect was charged with battery, escapee, fleeing, breaking and entering and theft. He was one of three suspects arrested at the business on E. 9th Street.
