Man dies from shot in face in SWLR

Posted By on Tue, Oct 30, 2012 at 12:12 PM

Fox 16 reports a homicide this morning on Sandhurst Drive in Southwest Little Rock. A man died after being shot in the face by a man who drove up to the house and knocked at the door. Police are looking for a man in a 2004 Cadillac.

UPDATE: The resident of the house who was killed was identified as Darrin Williams, 43, It was the 44th homicide of the year in Little Rock.

Please note: Though the name is the same and the age similar, I should add that the victim is not House speaker Darrin Williams, the Little Rock state representative.

I got the message today before noon; others didn't find out until it was going on. But however folks found out, they turned out in huge numbers, more than thousand men, women and children, on the grounds of the state Capitol to listen to speakers from all faiths and many countries.
